About Me

My photo
I am a bit of a hippy at heart, although I am a bit to young to have been a flower child (I was a New Romantic as a teenager). I love the individuality and colourfulness of the arty, hippy style and like to express that love of colour in my jewellery and I seem to be increasingly drawn to nature as inspiration for my beadwork.

Catching Up

Well hello, nice to see you ;-). It's been a while, not long after my last post my mother in law sadly passed away and with various other things I lost my blogging mojo. I have been beading in my absence so do have lots of pics to update you with!

The necklace above is one I made for myself using a fab eye cabachon from the wonderful Liz Reed of The Crimson moon on Etsy. I bead embroidered the pendant added a netted fringe & hung it on a spiral rope necklace. I have worn it quite a few times to work where it is a bit of a converstion piece!

The more observant of you will notice that I have changed the name of the blog on the shop, much easier to remember and explain than April Is Forever!

Happy Beading,

Sarahx

Hi,Sarah:-)
I can say-I missed Your pretty work:-)It's been a long time, since I last commented upon it.
Glad You're coming back and that I can admire Your wonderful 'eyed' necklace.
Very nice and unique beadwork with,I'd say, 'courageous' cab,as the focal.Lovely beads used and really fantastic stitch.
Best Greetings from still warm Sweden-Halinka-
